Diploma in Business Management

OTHM qualifications at RQF Level 4 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to Higher National Certificates (HNC) and Year 1 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.

OTHM qualifications at RQF Level 5 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to Foundation Degrees, Higher National Diploma (HND) and Year 2 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree.

The OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Business Management consists of 6 mandatory units for a combined total of 120 credits, 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 480 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

The OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Business Management consists of 6 mandatory units for a combined total of 120 credits, 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 480 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification

• Level 4 – Completion of A/L or Successful Completion of the foundation level of OTHM and Completion of O/L.
• Level 5 – Qualified in Level 4 Qualification in OTHM

Programme content – Year 01 / Level 04

The content of the qualification is focused on:

• Managing business communication
• Understanding the business environment and organisations in a global context
• Business functions including people management
• Quantitative methods in business
• Finance for managers
• Research and academic writing.

Year 02 / Level 05

 The content of the qualification is focused on:

• People management
• Managing projects
• Marketing, and finance for managers
• Business law
• Business ethics and social responsibility.

• The fee can be paid in 9 instalments within the program duration.
• The programme fee is not refundable and each instalment should be paid in the beginning of each month.
• Payments can be made directly to Expert Campus Finance Department or,
• Deposit the credit to the Institute’s Account number – Expert Campus (Pvt) Ltd. Sampath Bank, Palawatta Branch Account Number – 106314024646. If you are making a deposit, please handover the payment slip to finance department and obtain your receipt.
• Cheque should be drawn in favour of the “Expert Campus (Pvt) Ltd.” In Cheque payments the original receipts will be issued after the Cheque realisation.
