The Free Webinar about Academic Research Writing was held on the 18th July 2021. The main objective of the Webinar was to cater to the problems that students face when they do research writings. It was an initial step taken to improve the areas where students struggle in completing their research. It included the practicality that they need to be aware of, the academic writing tips as well as what are the new tools that can be used to complete their researches in a more efficient manner. Another major objective was to build independent researches and to motivate the students to do their researches in a more interesting manner.
This Webinar was conducted as an introduction program to launch the new UK qualification that we grant to the students – Postgraduate Qualification of Certificate in Research Methods. The event was conducted by Professor Chandana Gunathilake, Dr. Chamara De Zoysa, Dr. Namali Suraweera, Dr. Chandana Kasturiarachchi, and Ms. Kaumadee Ratnayake.
